James Ch. 5 v16. "The effectual fervent prayer of a Righteous man avails much."
Does this scripture mean that my perfection stirs God to answer my prayers?
If that was the case then God would have to close the windows of Heaven, never to hear our petitions again.
When you accept Christ as The Lord of your Life, you are placed in him. When God looks upon you, he sees Christ. How?
Colossians 3:3 states "For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God." The old man & women has died off. You are now a new creation in Christ Jesus.
Guess what. Your placed into perfection. It's the only way you can come before a thrice Holy God.
It's not your righteousness. It's imputed righteousness. Therefore the prayers of a righteous man or women avails much.

We are justified when we believe, but not until we live out that inner justification will men count us as just men. The cause of justification is faith, while the effect of justification is works.
Many modern churches have opted to entertain the masses in services. How many hiding under the cloak of religion, would Jesus show to be more suitable to a den of thieves than to a house of prayer? Kicking over tables and breaking out wipes might not be out of the question.
